Known issues on the 2024 Cybertruck. Eleven recalls have been issued for the 2024 Cybertruck. On certain trucks equipped with eighteen-inch steel wheels, the stud holes in the brake rotors could crack and let a stud pull free of the hub, risking loss of control; rotors, hubs and lug nuts were replaced. Another recall covered 2,431 vehicles: on certain trucks a drive inverter fault could cut power to the wheels; the inverter was replaced. Owners lodged 170 complaints, with the electrical system at 53, structure at 36 and forward collision avoidance at 20; 22 reported a crash, 2 a fire, 13 an injury and 2 a death.
