The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V767000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The vehicle was taken to the dealer because the contact was concerned that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. The contact was provided a loaner vehicle. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
At approximately 4,588 miles on my 2024 Lexus LX 600 (VIN: [XXX] , built May 2024), the orange brake system warning light (exclamation mark in a circle) illuminated on the dashboard while the vehicle was parked and running. No prior braking issues, unusual noises, or loss of pedal feel noticed. The light stayed on steadily after restart.
