Known issues on the 2024 Silverado EV. Four recalls stand on the federal record, three of them about belts that may not hold. Front buckle attachment bolts left under-tightened can let a buckle shift instead of restraining its occupant; a wrongly shaped bezel at the second-row center position can tear the webbing in a crash; and the bolt anchoring that same rear belt assembly to the seat structure may also have been left loose. The fourth is electrical: insufficiently insulated wiring in the rear drive motors can touch and cut drive power. Owners have logged 25 complaints, 9 on the electrical system and 3 each on structure and on visibility.
