In certain 2024 Encore GX vehicles, software in the Virtual Cockpit Unit Module could blank the instrument panel at startup or while driving, hiding speed and warning lights; a dealer or over-the-air software update fixes it. Certain vehicles were also recalled because the rearview camera image could appear distorted or blank, and the camera is inspected and replaced as needed.
