Because the 2023 Lexus RX 500h shares its nameplate with several other RX variants, it is easy to end up working from figures that belong to a different car. This manual is matched to the 2023 RX 500h specifically, to its 2.4L turbocharged hybrid four (T24A-FTS) and to the trim listed below, so the numbers you work to are the ones Lexus published for this vehicle.

Known issues on the 2023 RX 500h. One recall is on federal record for this model year. It covers the steering column: an electrical connection inside the spiral cable assembly may be insufficiently welded, and that connection can separate and deactivate the driver's air bag. A deactivated driver's air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury during a crash. No owner complaints have been filed for the year and Lexus has issued no technical service bulletins. The diagnostic and repair procedures behind the steering column and the air bag circuits it carries are here.
From a spiral cable inspection to a scheduled hybrid system service, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2023 RX 500h.
