Known issues on the 2022 GLE450. One of the 14 owner complaints on the 2022 GLE450 reported a crash. Engine issues account for seven of the complaints, electrical faults for four and vehicle speed control for two. NHTSA also records 11 recalls. Certain vehicles could suffer an engine stall because the transmission failed to downshift fully in some situations; new control unit software fixed it. On certain others, a 48-volt ground under the passenger seat might have been left insecure and could overheat.
