2022 GMC Yukon XL Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2022 GMC Yukon XL lists three engines for the four-door sport utility, a 5.3L gasoline V8, a 6.2L gasoline V8 and a 3.0L turbocharged diesel inline-six, and four trims, AT4, Denali, SLE and SLT. Two of the engines are pushrod V8s and the third is a double overhead cam six, so cylinder head work, valve train service and fuel system diagnostics differ substantially between them. Known issues on the 2022 Yukon XL. Four recalls are recorded. One covers 6.2L V8 engines whose connecting rod or crankshaft components can fail. Another involves transmission control software able to lock the rear wheels while the truck is under way. A third concerns a deformed rivet at a third-row belt buckle bracket, which may leave the belt unable to restrain an occupant. The fourth addresses daytime running lamps that do not switch off as intended and glare at oncoming traffic.
