2021 Audi Q5 Sportback Service and Repair Manual
This manual is built specifically for the 2021 Audi Q5 Sportback, in your trim, so the torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostic steps you pull up are the ones Audi actually published for this crossover rather than a generic Q5 approximation. Every Q5 Sportback built this year runs the 2.0L L4 (DPVA) turbocharged mild-hybrid EV-Gas engine, and the manual is written to that spec.

Known issues on the 2021 Q5 Sportback. Eight recalls are on federal record for this model year. Rear seat belt automatic locking retractors can deactivate early, preventing a child restraint system from securing properly. Rear axle alignment may not have been inspected after an earlier related repair, and separately a broken trailing-arm lock nut from stress corrosion can misalign the rear axle and cause a loss of control. A liquid spill or water ingress can penetrate the gateway control module and shut it down, suddenly reducing engine power. A software issue can leave the rearview camera display blank in reverse. Engine connecting rod bearings may become damaged, resulting in engine failure and, if oil leaks, a fire risk. A home outlet or charging cable used with the industrial 220V/240V plug at full charge setting can overheat. And the high-voltage battery may overheat, increasing fire risk. Owners have filed 70 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are logged. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
From a gateway control module fault to a rear axle inspection or a high-voltage battery check, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2021 Q5 Sportback.
