This factory service and repair manual for the 2020 Ram 4000 applies to a cab and chassis truck offered with a choice of gasoline V8 power. Buyers could order a 2-door or a 4-door cab, and three trims appear for the year: Crew, P and PL. Specifications, procedures and wiring diagrams follow both engines and both cabs.

Known issues on the 2020 4000. Gasoline, natural aspiration and overhead valves are common to both V8s in the 2020 4000, and the manual gives fuel system, ignition and cooling diagnostics for the 5.7L and the 6.4L. The manual lists procedures, specifications and torque values for the engine, transmission and drivetrain, and for the brakes, steering and suspension that support the chassis. Its wiring diagrams trace the electrical system and body of the 2-door and 4-door cabs in Crew, P and PL trim.
