Known issues on the 2020 AMG GT 63. Six recalls for the 2020 AMG GT 63 are listed by NHTSA, and one reaches into the cargo area: on certain vehicles equipped with rear seatbacks that release electrically, the left-rear backrest latch might give way if cargo hits it in a crash. Certain 4MATIC versions had an eCall module circuit that could be damaged and report the wrong location, and certain cars were also caught up in the starter cable routing fault that could chafe wiring into a short, a stall or a fire.
