Known issues on the 2020 XT6. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the fuel pump, where a manufacturing burr can block the jet nozzle and starve the engine of fuel, causing a stall without warning. The second covers the roof-rail curtain air bag inflator, whose diffuser may not be properly crimped and can separate during deployment, degrading protection in a crash. The third covers the automatic transmission's start-stop accumulator endcap, which may ship with missing bolts and can leak transmission fluid, in the worst case leading to a loss of propulsion or a fire near an ignition source. The fourth covers the rearview camera, where improperly crimped coaxial cable connectors can cause the camera to fail or work intermittently, cutting into rear visibility.
