Known issues on the 2019 Sierra 1500 Limited. Eight recalls are on the federal record. A brake control module software error could disable stability control and antilock braking without illuminating a warning, leaving the driver unaware. Battery positive cable rings built with excess glue could make an intermittent connection at the alternator, causing a stall or arcing hot enough to damage surrounding material. Seat belt pretensioners could vent hot gas through a bracket opening and ignite the carpet. Complaints total 633, with 217 on the engine, 128 on the power train and 69 on the electrical system.
