Known issues on the 2018 X. On certain 2018 X vehicles, the brake, park and ABS warning lamps appeared in lettering small enough to be hard to read quickly; an over-the-air update corrected it. This is one of 9 recalls on the federal record for the year. Another covered certain vehicles where the seat belt light and chime could fail to warn about an unbuckled driver. Owners lodged 192 complaints, spread across the suspension at 37, the electrical system at 35 and forward collision avoidance at 32. Of these, 35 reported a crash, 2 a fire and 13 an injury.
