Known issues on the 2018 SL450. Two recalls apply. The more physical one covered certain vehicles in which the front passenger air bag had been stitched incorrectly, so a seam could split as it inflated and reduce protection; dealers fit a replacement bag. The other dealt with certain cars whose emergency call function could relay a wrong location after a crash because of a software design fault in the communication module.
