Known issues on the 2018 GLC350e. The federal record lists eight recalls for the 2018 GLC350e. In certain vehicles, the driver air bag inflator housing may have been made from flawed steel, so the bag could fill improperly or the inflator could burst; dealers replaced the module. Certain vehicles had outboard rear seat belt latch plates that could slide back behind the trim panels, out of reach. And certain vehicles with automatic child seat recognition and the Audio 20 head unit might show the passenger air bag status wrongly. Four complaints name this car, citing the engine three times and the electrical system twice; a separate complaint, on service brakes, was filed against the 2018 GLC-Class line. Restraint, seat belt and wiring procedures are covered.
