This factory service and repair manual for the 2018 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT C deals with a car sold as a 2-door hatchback and as a 2-door convertible, each offered in one Base trim. Power in both comes from a 4.0L V8, turbocharged, with double overhead camshafts and gasoline fuel. From the V8 and its turbocharging to the chassis, both bodies and the cabin wiring, it sets out procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics for this year's GT C.

Known issues on the 2018 AMG GT C. NHTSA has recorded four recalls naming the 2018 AMG GT C. In one, certain vehicles got a driver air bag inflator whose housing steel might be defective, so the bag could fill improperly or the inflator could burst and scatter sharp fragments; dealers swap the driver air bag module. Another concerns certain cars whose seat belts could catch in their guide loops, letting slack build as occupants move, which dealers correct by reconfiguring the guides. A third affects certain vehicles whose communication module software might pass the wrong location to the emergency call system after a crash. The manual gives procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics for the air bag, seat belt and communication systems.
