Known issues on the 2017 G65 AMG. There are three recalls for this model year. The smallest covered certain 2017 G65 AMG vehicles (20 vehicles) that may have received the wrong software for limiting reverse speed; above 16 mph in reverse, a sudden steering input could unsettle the vehicle and risk a rollover, and dealers updated the engine control software. Another recall involved certain vehicles in which a stability control malfunction with Distronic Plus engaged could stop the engine from reducing power, lengthening stopping distances.
