Fitment here is narrow on purpose: this 2017 Lexus RX 350 service and repair manual is written around the model year's 3.5L V6 (2GR-FKS) and the trims the RX actually shipped in, so every clearance, torque value and service interval it lists is the one Lexus published for your vehicle instead of a figure carried over from an adjacent year.

Known issues on the 2017 RX 350. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two of them cover the gasoline fuel pump: if the fuel pump fails, the engine can stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash. The third covers the hydraulic brake system's vacuum power assist, where the oil galley in the rotor of the brake booster vacuum pump assembly may have been improperly machined, and a sudden loss of braking assist can increase the risk of a crash. Owners have filed 93 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are on record. The diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
Whether you are tracing a stall complaint back to fuel delivery, checking brake booster vacuum, or working through a scheduled service, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2017 RX 350.
