Known issues on the 2017 A7. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the fuel rails, which may develop a leak that, near an ignition source, raises the risk of fire. The second covers the front passenger occupant classification sensor, where stress or wear on the seat's body-sensing mat can cause the module to malfunction and prevent the front passenger air bag from deploying properly in a crash. The third covers the front air bags and seat belt pretensioners, which may not deploy or activate properly in a crash, increasing the risk of injury to occupants. The fourth covers the head curtain air bags, which may not deploy properly in a crash, increasing injury risk to an unbelted passenger. Consequence
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase risk of a fire.
Remedy
