It covered certain vehicles fitted with the 9-speed automatic, where the wiring harness at the transmission sensor cluster may have poorly crimped connections that could let the transmission slip into neutral without warning, raising crash risk. Dealers reprogrammed the powertrain and transmission control modules and replaced the range sensor harness where needed.
