Known issues on the 2016 SS. The federal record carries seven recalls for the 2016 SS, and they repeat three failure mechanisms. Corrosion at the connector joining the power steering module to the torque sensor can cost the driver steering assist. A driver's belt tensioner cable bent over the seat side shield can fatigue and separate, leaving the belt unable to restrain properly in a crash.
