Known issues on the 2015 CLS400. NHTSA lists four recalls for certain 2015 CLS400 vehicles. One covered certain vehicles built between April 16 and April 22, 2015, whose engine-bay bulkhead seal might have had its steel retaining cable damaged when the supplier reworked it, so the seal could cling to the raised hood, drop onto engine or exhaust parts and raise the risk of a fire. A broader campaign on certain vehicles addressed the same rear seal falling in by adding retaining clips. Another found certain vehicles with LED taillights that might not light on the sides, corrected with lighting controller software.
