LIT-18616-03-41 closes out its coverage with the 2014 craft, and the FX SHO from that year is coded FA1800-N.
The same book handles 2012 and 2013, plus the FX Cruiser HO, FX Cruiser SHO and FX HO. Yamaha's own service network used one reference for the whole family.
Why the code matters
With four models and three years inside, FA1800-N is what ties a given specification to your craft. Read it off the identification plate before ordering rather than after.
What you get is the full factory procedure set. Engine and supercharger-side service, jet pump overhaul, fuel delivery and cooling, steering, hull and hood hardware, and complete wiring diagrams. Torque figures and inspection limits appear at the point of use, and troubleshooting proceeds from symptom to cause through ordered checks. It is the document that lets you finish a job to specification instead of to feel.
