Known issues on the 2013 M6. Two recalls stand against this year. The more serious one is a lubrication fault: the oil pump's driveshaft was machined to a tolerance that lets it separate from the rotor, dropping oil pressure suddenly and potentially destroying the engine while the car is moving. The other covers a driver's frontal air bag inflator that may have been welded badly, so its housing can part from the base plate during deployment. Two owner complaints are on record, one on the engine and one on vehicle speed control.
