Known issues on the 2012 Equator. Two recalls are on federal record. Trucks built from June 16 through August 31, 2011 may have weak bolts at the engine oil cooler and oil filter mounting that can break and leak oil, risking engine seizure. Two-wheel drive trucks built from June 19 through July 12, 2012 may have front wheel hubs below hardness specification that can wear, crack and break.
