Known issues on the 2012 R350. On the federal record, the 2012 R350 has three recalls affecting certain vehicles. A pair deals with moisture that can build up in the brake booster and corrode it to the point of weak or failed brakes; until the booster had been inspected, owners were not to drive. The remaining recall involves the driver's frontal air bag on certain vehicles, where a rupturing inflator could scatter metal fragments at the people inside, and dealers install a replacement module.
