Fitment on this one is deliberately narrow: the 2011 Lexus GS 460 service and repair manual is written around the 4.6L V8 (1UR-FSE) and the trim Lexus sold that year, so the clearances, torque values and diagnostic steps you pull from it are the ones published for your car rather than figures borrowed from another GS variant.

Known issues on the 2011 GS 460. One recall is on federal record for this model year. It covers the gasoline fuel system, specifically the delivery hoses, lines, piping and fittings: due to anti-corrosion plating remnants, fuel may leak from where the fuel pressure sensor is attached to the fuel delivery pipe, and a fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. Owners have filed 3 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are on record. The diagnostic and repair procedures behind that system are here.
Whether you are inspecting the fuel pressure sensor joint at the fuel delivery pipe or working through a scheduled service on the 1UR-FSE, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your 2011 GS 460.
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain model year 2007-2010 Lexus LS vehicles manufactured May 9, 2006, to July 20, 2010, 2006-2011 Lexus GS vehicles manufactured January 6, 2005, to September 10, 2010, and 2006-2011 Lexus IS vehicles manufactured August 30, 2005, to September 10, 2010. Due to anti-corrosion plating remnants, fuel may leak from where the fuel pressure sensor is attached to the fuel delivery pipe.
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will clean and reseal the fuel pressure sensor mounting area, free of charge. The recall began March 3, 2015. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331.
