Known issues on the 2008 CL65 AMG. NHTSA filed three recalls against wider groupings. Two were filed against the 2008 CL-Class line: one for certain vehicles whose front signal acquisition module transistors, stored in humid conditions, could be damaged during soldering and stop working, and one for certain vehicles given incorrect software coding at a workshop, so the fuel pump might not shut off after a crash. The third, against the 2008 C216-chassis models, covered certain cars equipped with active body control whose front strut acceleration sensors had out-of-tolerance solder points, which could leave the front suspension uneven.
