Electric Drive cars for 2007 through 2009 are documented in Yamaha part number LIT-19616-29-08, and the 48-volt DC-motor Fleet car carries the model code YDRE. The same manual also holds the gas YDRA Fleet and PTV cars, the electric PTV, the Adventurer One YTF1 and the Concierge four- and six-seat models — nine configurations in all.
For a YDRE car the important chapters are the electrical ones. Motor removal and brush inspection, controller testing, solenoid and forward-reverse switching, the charging receptacle and battery care are each given with the measurements Yamaha specified, which is what a car that creeps or will not move needs.
