Known issues on the 2007 SL55 AMG. NHTSA filed one recall against certain 2007 R230-chassis models, the wider line this car belongs to, limited to those fitted with Active Body Control sensors on the front struts; soldering on those sensor boards could fall outside tolerance, letting the two sides of the front suspension adjust differently. The repair called for a dealer inspection of the sensors and new ones wherever they failed it.
