Known issues on the 2007 E320. Sixteen owner complaints name this sedan, spread across the power train (4), the fuel and propulsion system (4) and the engine (3); one reported a crash and one an injury. The recall picture is heavier. Four recalls cover certain 2007 E320 vehicles over the sliding sunroof, whose glass could loosen and fall away from the roof. NHTSA filed two recalls against the 2007 E-Class line, including one for certain diesel-powered cars whose crankshaft sensor could fail, cutting engine power and blocking a restart; dealers replaced the sensor.
