2007 Isuzu H-Series Service and Repair Manual

Twin-branded with the Chevrolet Kodiak and GMC TopKick, the 2007 Isuzu H-Series is a conventional-cab medium-duty truck assembled on GM's Flint line. It comes as the Class 6 HTR, Class 7 HVR and Class 8 HXR, and every one uses Isuzu's own 7.8-liter 6HK1-TC inline-six turbodiesel rather than the GM gasoline or V8 diesel choices of its twins. Known issues on the 2007 H-Series. Three recalls are on federal record. Two concern trucks with the 7.8L diesel and air brakes whose air compressor may not build enough pressure, which can hold the brakes applied at a standstill or trigger the spring parking brakes after a warning if pressure keeps falling. The third covers Bendix park control valves that can develop an internal air leak or restriction, so the park brake may release only partly or fail to hold on uneven ground.
