2007 GMC Sierra 1500 HD Classic Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 HD Classic covers the carryover heavy-duty truck sold alongside the redesigned Sierra that year. One engine is listed, the naturally aspirated 364-cubic-inch 6.0L V8 with overhead valves, running gasoline; one body, the four-door crew cab pickup; and two trims, SLE and SLT. Everything in the book, from procedures and specifications to torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics, applies to that one build with no variant filtering required.

Known issues on the 2007 Sierra 1500 HD Classic. Two recalls are on the federal record, both concerning the heated washer fluid hardware. A short circuit on the washer fluid heater's printed circuit board could disturb other electrical features, produce an odor, or generate smoke and a fire risk; separately, the heated washer module itself could ignite. Owners have logged 343 complaints, 155 of them against the air bags, 44 against the service brakes and 29 against the electrical system. Restraint diagnostics, brake procedures and body wiring are where this manual answers.
