2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic gathers five engines into three cab bodies. A full-hybrid 5.3-liter V8 heads the list, followed by a conventional 5.3 certified for flex fuel or gasoline, a 4.8-liter V8, a 4.3-liter V6 and a 6.0-liter V8, all overhead-valve and naturally aspirated. Five trims from WT to SS ride on standard, extended and crew cabs, and the hybrid material is separated from the conventional driveline procedures throughout.

Known issues on the 2007 Silverado 1500 Classic. Air bags dominate the complaint record for this year: 503 of the 1,056 reports name them, ahead of 107 on the electrical system and 88 on the service brakes. Four recalls accompany that history. One describes a washer fluid heater module that can short on its circuit board and give off an odor or smoke before it burns. Another covers a replacement wheel hub whose inboard retention nut backs off until the wheel separates. The last two involve headlamps without side reflectors and a trailer adaptor whose wiring leaves a trailer dark.
