Known issues on the 2007 Aveo5. Two recalls are on the federal record for this year. In one, the daytime running light module can build up heat until it melts, creating a fire risk. In the other, severe frontal crash testing fractured a fuel line in the engine compartment while crash damage shorted the fuse block, so the fuel pump kept running and fuel spilled onto the ground.
