2006 Yamaha V STAR 650 SILVERADO Service and Repair Manual

Yamaha put the Silverado, the 650 Classic and the V Star Classic in one service volume, numbered LIT-11616-XV-02, covering the 2006 to 2010 model years. The 2006 Silverado is code XVS65ATV.

The Silverado differs from its siblings mainly in touring equipment, so the mechanical procedures are shared and the variant-specific sections are marked where they occur. That arrangement saves hunting through several references when a job crosses from engine to bodywork.

The content itself is factory issue: adjustment and maintenance specifications, engine disassembly and reassembly in prescribed order, inspection and wear limits, fuel and ignition figures, shaft drive, suspension and brakes, and the electrical system with Yamaha's wiring diagrams.
