Known issues on the 2006 Camry Solara. Two recalls are on federal record. Gulf States Toyota recalled certain model year 2005-2010 vehicles for failing to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims"; the labeling does not meet the standard requirements. Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC recalled a group of models that includes the 2006-2008 Camry Solara over the front seat heater: if damaged, the copper strand heating element may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire. Owners have filed 146 complaints against this model year, and 79 technical service bulletins have been issued for it.
