The hybrid system's coolant pump can fail and let the hybrid control hardware overheat, shutting the powertrain down in what feels like a stall. A wiper motor built without grease on the output shaft gear can distort or fracture that gear and leave the windshield uncleared. A rebuilt transmission's shift lever can separate from the linkage so gear selection is lost, and incorrectly sized replacement front wheel bearings can affect braking and steering.
