2006 Isuzu i-280 Service and Repair Manual

Isuzu's return to the pickup market for 2006 came in the form of the i-280, a rear-drive extended-cab truck built alongside the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon in Shreveport. It uses the 2.8-liter DOHC inline-four rated at 175 horsepower with a manual or automatic transmission and a six-foot bed, in S or better-equipped LS trim. Known issues on the 2006 i-280. Three recalls are on federal record. The brake lamp switch can fail so the brake lamps, including the center high-mounted lamp, stay off or stay lit, and cruise control stops working; a second campaign covers switch contamination in hot-climate states. The third covers regular and extended cabs with a front 60/40 bench and no rear seat, where the center top tether anchor is not accessible.
