2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2006 Trailblazer. Eight recalls are recorded for this year, and several share a cause. Fluid working into the driver's door module or its master power window switch corrodes the circuit board, and the resulting short can start a fire even while the truck sits parked; that mechanism accounts for four of them. A headlamp driver module can overheat and fail, leaving the headlamps and daytime running lights dark. A power steering hose built out of specification can fracture under full lock and take away steering assist. Complaints number 1,346, led by 646 on the fuel system.
