Known issues on the 2006 C7500 Kodiak. Two recalls sit on the federal record for this model year. In the first, a check valve inside an air brake valve may not seat, and the leakage that follows delays the spring brakes from setting after the dash button is pulled, so a truck that looks parked can roll away. In the second, the sealing compound inside a battery equalizer or converter can turn conductive, then melt and burn. One owner complaint is logged, on the electrical system. Air brake service and the truck's power distribution and circuit diagnostics are both covered here.
