Known issues on the 2005 C320. The 2005 C320 carries four recalls of its own. The most serious concerns certain vehicles whose driver frontal air bag inflator could rupture in a deployment and spray metal fragments at occupants; dealers replace the air bag module. Three more cover certain vehicles over sunroof glass that could come loose. NHTSA filed two further recalls against certain 2005 C-Class line vehicles: one for those equipped with sport steering wheels, whose air bag protection fell short in out-of-position tests, and one for incorrect coding that could block the fuel pump's crash shutoff signal. Of the 2005 C320's 13 complaints, 2 reported a fire; separately, NHTSA logged five complaints against the 2005 C-Class line. Air bag and fuel pump wiring diagrams are included.
