Known issues on the 2005 325Ci. Two of the three recalls against this car concern frontal air bag inflators. On the passenger side, propellant exposed to heat and humidity for long enough can break down, leaving the inflator liable to explode and throw metal fragments into the cabin; on the driver's side, moisture reaching the inflator creates the same rupture risk when the bag fires.
