2004 Yamaha SXVENOM Service and Repair Manual

LIT-12618-02-30 is the number Yamaha gave the Venom manual, and SXV60J is the code on the 2004 machine it was written for.

Three seasons and three machines are handled here. The book runs from 2004 to 2006 and, besides the base Venom, takes in the SX Venom ER and the Venture 600. Yamaha grouped them because the service work overlaps heavily, and the text is careful to name the code whenever a procedure splits between them.

For an owner, the value is in the numbers: the torque a fastener wants, the clearance a component should measure, the sequence in which things go back together. Those are stated, not approximated. Note SXV60J alongside the part number when you cross-reference parts diagrams, since the ER variant shares much of the same hardware but not all of it.
