Listed with a typographical quirk in the model name, the 2004 G22-AZ G-MAX is nonetheless a straightforward carbureted car, coded G22AZ and documented in LIT-19616-22-04.

Yamaha gathered 2003 through 2007 into this manual, fifteen variants in total, so the electric G22 cars and the G23 UMAX Medium Duty utility models share the binding with the gas G-MAX. Shared systems are written once, and where a year differs the text says so.
