2003 Yamaha VIRAGO 250 Service and Repair Manual

For the 2003 model year the 250 cruiser was designated XV250R. Repair information comes from the factory manual Yamaha numbered LIT-11616-XV-25, the same volume the dealer network used.

It was written to cover the whole run, which is to say 1988 to 1990, 1995 to 1999 and 2001 to 2005, plus the closely related Route 66. Checking your frame code against that list is the surest way to know the book applies.
