2003 Yamaha GP800R Service and Repair Manual

Yamaha changed the code format partway through the GP800R run; for 2003 the craft is GP800A-B. The service manual is unchanged, LIT-18616-02-26, written to cover every year from 2001 to 2005.

It is a working document. Procedures are numbered, illustrations show the special tools where Yamaha expects one, and specifications are grouped so you can read off a clearance without hunting. Engine internals, jet pump, fuel delivery, steering and the electrical system all get their own chapters, with wiring diagrams at the back.

Diagnosis is handled by symptom, so a complaint like poor idle or no start is traced through a sequence of checks. Before you use any figure, match GP800A-B to the plate, as the code is how the book distinguishes one year from the next.
