2002 Yamaha SRX Service and Repair Manual

Yamaha gave the 2002 SRX its own service manual, part number LIT-12618-SR-X7, separate from the volume that covered the two preceding years. The sled is coded SRX700G.

A single-year book means no column-checking: the clearances, torque values and adjustment figures in it belong to your machine directly. That is worth something on a triple where ignition and carburetion setup leaves little margin.

Coverage runs from the maintenance schedule through engine disassembly and reassembly with wear limits, fuel and ignition service, drive clutch and chaincase work, track and suspension adjustment, and electrical diagnosis with the full wiring diagram. Troubleshooting sections start from the symptom rather than the component.

Before ordering, confirm SRX700G on the sled — the 2002 code differs from the 2000 and 2001 machines, and so does the manual.
