The last of the electric G16 cars is the 2002 G16-EX, code G16EX, with a 36-volt DC motor. Yamaha's manual for it is LIT-19616-G1-60.
That part number covers the platform from its 1996 introduction through to 2002, and lists thirteen other models beside this one, from the first G16-EP electric car to the final G16-AX on the carburetted side. A fleet with several years of G16 on the property needs only the one reference.
Motor and controller work, charging system diagnosis, wiring diagrams as built, brake and chassis procedures with torque figures, and inspection limits for the parts that wear are all set out in the order Yamaha's own technicians were trained to follow. Specifications are the factory's, not approximations gathered from elsewhere.
Check that the code plate reads G16EX before ordering.
