Known issues on the 2000 Intrigue. Four recalls apply to the 2000 Intrigue. On certain 2000 Intrigue vehicles, fluid could leak internally within the brake hydraulic control unit, so rear proportioning, antilock, traction or stability control might misbehave when triggered. Certain 2000 Intrigue vehicles equipped with TRW seat belt buckles had buckle bases that were not heat treated correctly and might not restrain an occupant in a crash. Certain 2000 Intrigue vehicles could also have the ignition jarred out of run, stopping the engine and possibly preventing air bag deployment. Owners filed 199 complaints, 71 on the electrical system and 48 on exterior lighting; 11 complaints reported a crash, 2 a fire and 6 an injury. Brake and electrical diagnostics apply.
